Dining Map

Campus MapYour meal plan allows you access and enjoy dining at a choice of 3 dining halls and 10 retail destinations across the IC campus. Check out the map for all dining and retail locations.

Meal Plan Information

All participants must have their Ithaca College ID card to access their meal plan. Meal plans are exclusively allowed for the participant. However, each meal plan comes with three guest passes per semester; these passes can be used for any guest or for the participant. Unused guest passes are on your Ithaca College ID card and expire at the end of the semester.

All incoming students required to maintain a meal plan will be automatically defaulted to the 14+ Blue meal plan. Returning students required to be on a meal plan will be defaulted to the plan they had previous semester. There are many options available; please see the information below for different meal plan options and how to change your meal plan.

  • Meal plans are based on a seven day week. The week starts on Friday and ends on Thursday. Please note that unused meals do not carry over.
  • All on campus residents (except Garden and Circle Apartments) are required by Ithaca College to have a meal plan.
Garden Apartment residents, Circle Apartment residents, and off-campus residents can sign up for a voluntary meal plan through Homer Connect. To add a Voluntary Meal Plan after the deadline has passed, please visit The Office of Student Financial Services located on the 2nd floor in the Peggy Ryan Williams Center*. Voluntary meal plans can be added at any time during the semester.

*Student Financial Services office hours are: Monday through Friday:  8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Please note that on Thursdays the office is closed from 8:30 am - 10:45 am for staff meetings.) Please visit http://www.ithaca.edu/finaid/ for more information.
Please direct all meal plan questions to the Ithaca Dining Services main office: 607.274.1187.

  • Most meal plans are accompanied by Bonus Bucks. Bonus Bucks are for food purchases only and can be used at any Ithaca Dining Services location on campus.
  • Students now automatically roll over to the meal plan they had the previous year. When students live in an apartment or off campus, they would have the option to participate in the 7+ Platinum, 7+ Gold or 7+ Blue meal plans or to opt out. The current guidelines would be applied for making changes to their meal plan.

How to add or change a meal plan

  • Deadline for student meal plan changes: Two weeks after the start of classes
  • For your convenience, HomerConnect now remembers your currently selected meal plan and carries it over to the following year. In addition, there are new meal plan options available this year to choose from in the Carte Blanche, 14+ and 10+ Meal Plan categories.

bonus bucks Information

Difference Between Bonus Bucks and ID Express

Bonus Bucks are for meal plan participants only and they are tax free. Bonus Bucks are for food purchases only. Bonus Bucks carry over from Fall semester to Spring semester, but not from Spring semester to Fall semester. To add more Bonus Bucks, purchase them online through our Gifts from Home or contact Ithaca Dining Services at 607.274.1352.

ID Express is a debit account that is accessed with your Ithaca College ID card. An ID Express account provides a convenient, easy and safe way to make purchases on campus. Please note Bonus Bucks and ID Express can be on your account at the same time. For more information regarding ID Express visit http://www.ithaca.edu/bursar/idx.htm.

Dining Locations that Accept Bonus Bucks and ID Express

If you are on a meal plan, you can use Bonus Bucks or ID Express to buy an additional meal or treat a friend or family member at these locations: Terraces Dining Hall, Towers Dining Hall, and Campus Center Dining Hall. If you're not on a meal plan, ID Express is a convenient way to purchase meals in the dining halls.

The following retail locations accept Bonus Bucks and ID Express: Sub Connection, IC Square Food Court, Sandella's Café, Grand Central Café, CHS Coffee Cart, Café @ the Park School, Café @ the Business School, the tc lounge, and the Circles Market. Additional services that welcome Bonus Bucks and ID Express include Gifts from Home (offering cakes and care packages), and Simply to Go Catering.
